Josepha Miller, Managing Director

Josepha Miller joined Montague DeRose and Associates in 2012 and has completed more than $8 billion in financings. Her primary responsibilities with MDA include credit strategy, policy analysis and development, deal execution, new business development and general client account support. Her clients have included, among others, the California Department of Water Resources, City and County of San Francisco, San Francisco Public Utilities Commission, EBMUD, Tacoma Power and Water, and Contra Costa County.

Ms. Miller previously led the Legal, Economic, and Regulatory Affairs research practice for Gerson Herman Group’s West Coast office, and has worked on consulting projects with British and Mexican governmental agencies in the areas of agricultural investment and foreign direct investment and trade, the latter with a focus on the renewable energy and telecommunications sectors. Furthermore, Ms. Miller gained further financial and policy experience as a policy assistant with the College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering in Albany, NY and as an administrator with a financial advising company in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Ms. Miller received her Bachelor of Arts degree in European Studies and International Relations from the College of William and Mary, and a Master of Public Administration degree, specializing in Public and Economic Policy, from the London School of Economics.
